Overall, we had a good time and will likely be back. One major complaint - guests shouldn't be charged $12 per day for Wi-Fi, especially since it didn't work in the casino, only in the room.
Anyone sitting on the ends of the table had a difficult time seeing the cards face-up on the table. Just wish they would use the Jumbo Index playing cards. You can take a bus from Greenville to Harrahs Cherokee Center via Greenville, Charlotte Bus Station, Asheville, Swannanoa River Rd at Fairview Rd, and College St at Haywood St in around 7h 4m. Can't say enough good things about the poker room! Staff was courteous, organized, and ran the games efficiently. Just wish the Chef's Stage Buffet wasn't closed on two of the three days we were there because we would have liked to have had an opportunity to try some things we missed the first time. Selu Garden, Chef's Stage Buffet and Earl of Sandwich were all excellent. Our room in the Mountain Tower was a long walk from the casino and the restaurants, but at least we got our exercise. Carpet was a bit worn and the water flow from the sink faucet was difficult to adjust - too forceful and caused splashing on the counter, but not a major issue. The hotel was very nice and our room was large and comfortable.
